Mike Dou is a Senior Advisor, Process Engineering and Operations at WasteFuel. He has 30+ years of industrial experience spanning innovative petroleum refining / petrochemical process development, commercial scale up of technology/equipment to 1st of a kind manufacturing facility planning, engineering, start-up and digitalization. 

His work assignments with a multi-national company brought him to many parts of the world and enriched his culture, economy and social development knowledge and insights.

Throughout his career, Mike has played a variety of roles, such as technology advisor, department manager, plant start-up lead and project managers of capital projects and oversea technology support center at leading companies in the sector including ExxonMobil and bp.

Mike holds a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University.

He lives with his family in Houston, TX and enjoys travel, swimming and gardening.
