Mike Dou is the Senior Manager of Engineering and Operations at WasteFuel. He has 30+ years of industrial experience spanning innovative petroleum refining / petrochemical process development, commercial scale up of technology/equipment to 1st of a kind manufacturing facility planning, engineering, start-up and digitalization. 

He spent more than 20 years at ExxonMobil where held several positions including Business Venture Manager and Project Manager and led the technology selection, tools design, engineer training and deployment across more than 40 manufacturing sites around the world.

Prior to ExxonMobil, he was an Asset Support Engineer at bp where he worked on refinery optimization and technology implementation. 

​

He began his career as an Engineer and then went on to be a Senior Engineer at Mobil where he spent several years on the development and execution of projects. 

Mike holds a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University.

He lives with his family in Houston, TX and enjoys travel, swimming and gardening.
