Senior Financial Analyst

WasteFuel is seeking to hire a highly motivated, dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join its rapidly growing team. The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in WasteFuel’s development and will work closely with and report to the executive team.

 

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable multi-tasking and will embody our corporate values of teamwork with a high level of urgency and accountability.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing rigorous financial models and financial analyses on Excel based spreadsheets.

• Supporting and assisting in the annual budgeting, quarterly forecast, and fundraising processes.

• Assisting with projects (project management, business development, industry research, etc.) on an as-needed basis.

• Creating clear and concise executive summary memos, diagrams, and presentations.

• Performing financial analyses to determine the financial health of vendors, potential partners, and competitors.

• Working with business units to gain in-depth understanding of processes, challenges, and strategies. Explaining issues and recommending solutions to senior management.

• Conducting research and analysis to identify and define additional partners needed to scale the business.

• Conducting outreach to establish relationships with potential partners.

• Editing and proofreading memos, emails, presentations, and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 5+ years’ experience in finance, financial modeling & research.

• Excellent written, verbal communication, and editing skills.

• Advanced Microsoft Office & Excel knowledge / proficiency.
