Morten Bo Christiansen is Vice President of Decarbonization for AP Moller Maersk.

He has been with Maersk since 2011 and held various positions including Vice President, Head of Strategy, M&A, and Consulting; Head of Supply Chain in Maersk Drilling; and Head of Maersk Management Consulting.

 

Before joining Maersk, Christiansen was Principal for Boston Consulting Group where he focused on strategy and operational engagement in the Med Tech, Industrial goods, Oil and Gas, and Private Equity sectors.

 

He began his career as a practicing engineer with the engineering consulting group COWI, where he designed and managed large infrastructure and civil works projects.

 

Christiansen holds a Ph.D. (Structural Engineering) and an M.SC. (Civil Engineering) from Technical University of Denmark.

 

He is an active member on the Board of Directors of Svitzer A/S and a member of the SCIENCE Digitization Council at the University of Copenhagen.
